Week 10 and Dez Bryant finally found a home. He signed with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday. That gives Drew Brees even more weapons in his arsenal en route to a possible Super Bowl appearance. He already has one ring, and with him possibly looking at the end of his career this season, and the Saints at the top of the NFC, it’s looking good for another Super Bowl ring.
BREAKING: The New Orleans Saints fear WR Dez Bryant tore his Achilles on the last play of practice on Friday. That was reported by @nflnetwork and by @AdamSchefter on Twitter. Team doctors performed an MRI and should have more information on his status this weekend. But it’s looking like Dez Bryant’s stay with the Saints will be short lived.
As for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell, He’s been holding out for the last 10 weeks and he has a hard deadline of November 13th. If he doesn’t report to the Steelers, he won’t be able to play this season. He’s been holding out for a long term deal, and who can blame him knowing the pounding a running back does on a weekly basis. Time is running out on the all-Pro rusher this season.

Bye Week Teams: Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Minnesota
Thursday, November 8
Carolina at Pittsburgh
Line: Steelers by 4
This is a heavily anticipated matchup between two hot teams. The Panthers are winners of 4 straight coming off a big win verses Tampa Bay. The Steelers were winners against slumping Baltimore. This game will all depend on who has the better QB.
This is my upset special!
Smooth’s Pick – Carolina (27-23)
Sunday, November 11
New Orleans at Cincinnati
Line: Saints by 4½
The Saints are looking like the team to beat in the NFC after the serious beat down on the Rams’ defense Sunday night. They look to continue their win streak in Cincinnati against a Bengals team coming off a bye week. This will be tougher than expected.
Smooth’s Pick – New Orleans (28-21)
Arizona at Kansas City
Line: Chiefs by 16½
The Cardinals needed that bye week to re-group after starting the season 2-6. But it doesn’t get any better as they have to take on a powerful Chiefs team that has been merciless in their games. It will be another brutal outcome.
This is my lock!
Smooth’s Pick – Kansas City (44-13)
Atlanta at Cleveland
Line: Falcons by 4½
The “Dirty Birds” coming off a huge win on the road in Washington. They continue their road trip in Cleveland against a weakened Browns team who are trying to get back on track. This could be a bruising day for the “Dawg Pound”.
Smooth’s Pick – Atlanta (38-14)
Buffalo at NY Jets
Line: Jets by 7½
If there’s a chance for the Bills to get back into the win column, it would be this weekend. They haven’t had much luck scoring touchdowns and they could give Gang Green some problems. But even without Sam Darnold not playing this Sunday due to a foot injury, Gang Green should be able to handle the Bills defense.
Smooth’s Pick – NY Jets (21-10)
Detroit at Chicago
Line: Bears by 6½
The Lions are coming off a disastrous loss to Minnesota and now have to head to the windy city to take on their arch rivals. The Bears hammered Buffalo last weekend, but expect a harder task in this divisional matchup.
Smooth’s Pick – Chicago (20-17)
Jacksonville at Indianapolis
Line: Colts by 3
Both teams are coming off a bye week. Both have had disappointing seasons as of now. More so the Jags, who were supposed to run away with the AFC South. The Colts were supposed to get better with Andrew Luck returning at QB. This will be a fight for survival.
Smooth’s Pick – Indianapolis (23-19)
New England at Tennessee
Line: Patriots by 6½
A solid showing for the Pats, who hammered Green Bay on Sunday night. They take on a Titans team that shocked Dallas on the road. They’re looking for revenge from last season’s divisional playoff loss. This could be tougher than expected.
Smooth’s Pick – New England (31-28)
Washington at Tampa Bay
Line: Bucs by 3
A horrible loss by the Redskins at home against Atlanta last weekend. They travel to Tampa to take on a Bucs team that got surgically beaten by Carolina. Another tough matchup that will be entertaining as much as it will be brutal.
Smooth’s Pick – Washington (17-13)
LA Chargers at Oakland
Line: Bolts by 10
The surprise of the AFC are the Bolts, who are 6-2 and are on Kansas City’s heels in the West. They beat Seattle last Sunday and take on a Raiders team that was humiliated against San Francisco. Look for more humiliation to come.
Smooth’s Pick – LA Chargers (31-13)
Miami at Green Bay
Line: Packers by 10
The Pack are coming off a loss to New England on Sunday night. They return home when they have a must-win against a Dolphins team that sneaked a victory against the Jets. This game won’t be as easy for the Fish.
Smooth’s Pick – Green Bay (26-14)
Seattle at LA Rams
Line: Rams by 10
The Seahawks were beaten by the Chargers at home. Now they take on the crosstown Rams at the LA Coliseum, who were the last of the undefeated to lose last Sunday night to New Orleans. The Rams should regroup at home, but may have trouble with the mobile Russell Wilson at QB.
Smooth’s Pick – LA Rams (24-17)
Dallas at Philadelphia
Line: Eagles by 7
Both teams are underachieving this season. The Cowboys are 3-5 with their loss to Tennessee on Monday night. The Eagles are at .500 with a 4-4 record and are coming off a bye week. That should give them the edge in this crucial NFC East matchup.
Smooth’s Pick – Philadelphia (31-14)
Monday, November 12
NY Giants at San Francisco
Line: Niners by 3
The GMen needed the bye week to regroup after a 5 game losing streak. But don’t look now. They’re still 4 behind in the loss column in the NFC East. But they need a victory in Santa Clara against the Niners. They’re coming off a shellacking of their cross bay rivals, Oakland. It may be a different story with this Big Blue defense, they just need the old Eli Manning to return to form.
Smooth’s Pick – NY Giants (24-21)
